Evangelist Okotie
In an article narrating his expedition to Godro in Benin Republic, Superior Senior Evangelist Wisdom Omoviroro Okotie narrated his experience and revealed how the handlers of the leader of the largest faction in the Celestial Church, Reverend Emmanuel Oshoffa keep denying him access to the eldest of the children of SBJ Oshoffa.






Okotie went on the trip to Godro on the invitation of the daughter of SBJ Oshoffa, Edith Oshoffa, to witness the inauguration of a school named after the founder of the church. The present Godro village happens to be the forest where SBJ was led into by the Holy Spirit for 3 months. It was at this forest that he heard the sound of a voice which proclaimed the word “Luli”, interpreted as grace thrice.


In the article published by Celestial News Online, he wrote about his cordial relationship with the Oshoffas, but acknowledged that getting access to former president, Olusegun Obasanjo, Bishop David Oyedepo and Reverend SBJ Oshoffa is easier than having access to Reverend Emmanuel Oshoffa.

“So far, I have made many attempts to meet with Rev. EMF Oshoffa but those around him have made it almost impossible for me to see him. In 1985 when I met with Papa SBJ Oshoffa it was a walk-in meeting and totally hassle free.

“Two months ago when I visited (with) Bishop David Oyedepo, he came to usher me into his office. When I visited with Baba Obasanjo in Ogun state, it was as easy as ABC. How come to visit with EMF Oshoffa is like the proverbial Carmel trying to pass through the eyes of a needle?


“If you cannot have quick access to a “Pastor” then how can the suffering masses be helped. If a Pastor cannot function independently how can he grant independence to the oppressed?” he asked.

However, he was quick to state that his desire to visit Reverend EMF Oshoffa was not bore out of any motive but to reveal to him his “encounter with his Dad on March 28th and 29th, 1985 at Ketu.”
