Halleluyah,
Hello friends, how's your day? Today, we shall be looking at the exemplary life of Epaphras, whose name means "loving or lovely".
Today's Topic: The Epaphras Example
Text: Colossians 1: 1-11
Memory Verse: Colossians 1:10
Epaphras was a native of Colosse, who had given his life to Christ, hence, he was representing Christ - Apostles - Paul, at the Church in Colosse especially when Paul was in Prison in Rome.
Paul was very pleased with him because Epaphras was a very good representative of the Apostolic faith (Colossians 1:7)
Examples of Epaphras's Attitudes We Celestials Church Members Should Follow:
1. He did not take advantage of Paul's imprisonment.
Many Celestials nowadays, have taken advantage of the present situation of the Church and have been doing all sort of atrocities. Remember Rev 22: 11-14.
2. He kept without blemish the good name of himself and that of the apostles.
Non Celestial Church members, do criticise the Church not because they have good knowledge about the Church, but because they have seen members of the Church misbehaving at their work places, homes, schools, neighbourhoods etc. Remember CCC Hymn 186 Stanza 2.
Finally, dear reader, God has called you into this fold for a purpose (hymns 205), just like Epaphras. Are you a Shepherd, Choir Master, Youth Coordinator, Prophet, Evangelist, Parochial Committee Chairman or whatsoever you are.
Please live a life worthy of emulation, so that God of Celestial Church may be proud of you and bless you according. (Hymn 731 Stanza 4)
Until, I come your way next week, please be rooted in the word of God. Stay Blessed. Evangelist Oloyede Raphael

The mission of Paul the Apostle has taken him to many places and Countries, so, after establishing Churches at several places, he usually appoints someone or group of people to over see the development and growth of the Church both Spiritual and Physical. That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God
