The meaning of El Beraca Bered Eli and why Celestial Church make use of it, el beraca meaning
Celestians in a Church Service

The meaning of this holy name El Beraca Bered Eli is God the king of blessing. In Celestial Church, this holy name is pronounced when prayer is made after the collection of offering and tithe. You may be wondering why is this done?

Biblical Meaning or Interpretation:

Beraca was mentioned in 2 Chronicles 20:26, "On the fourth day, they assembled in the Valley of Berakah, where they praised the Lord. This is why it is called the Valley of Berakah to this day."

The event which lead to the usage of the word in 2 Chronicles 20, began when the Moabites and Ammonites with some of the Meunites waged war against the people of Judah led by King Jehoshaphat. “3 members prayers and silent prayer are not enough”. As question over revival during Sunday Service sparks debate

Before facing their adversaries, the spirit of the Lord came on Jahaziel son of Zechariah who had appeared before King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem.

Jahaziel informed them, "Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s... You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you, Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you." 2 Chronicles 20:15-17. Shhhh....... What To Do When Next You Say Your Silent Prayers - Fisayo Joel

However, on the day of the battle, Jehoshaphat and his men went to the camp of their enemies and met their dead bodies lying on the ground. Verse 25 and 26 say, "So Jehoshaphat and his men went to carry off their plunder, and they found among them a great amount of equipment and clothing and also articles of value—more than they could take away. There was so much plunder that it took three days to collect it.

"On the fourth day, they assembled in the Valley of Berakah, where they praised the Lord. This is why it is called the Valley of Berakah to this day. How Sidesmen and Service Conductors may hinder prayers during silent prayers - Prophet Olaniyi

From the event in 2 Chronicles, one can see the reason the word Beraca (Berakhah) was used. In Hebrew, Berakhah means Blessings. While 'El' means God. Eli is a Hebrew name that means “high” or “elevated.” It could also
mean “my God.”

The usage of El Beraca Bered Eli is strategic, as it used to invoke the name of God, to remind Him of His miracle in 2 Chronicles 20, so that the prayers of the congregate can be answered.

Also Hymn 426, described El Beraca Bered Eli as "Our Lord the King who blesses His Congregation."
