Fisayo Joel in his weekly post about the Church, has advised that silent prayer should be rendered in a silent manner as opposed to the way some members render it.
"So many people lack knowledge on how to pray silently rather disturbing others with irrelevant noises such as "Ha...... Lo...... Yeh....."
Quoting Isaiah 59:1and Habakkuk 2:20 he stated that God is not deaf, therefore whenever it is time for silent prayer in the church, let everywhere be silent.
"The Bible stated it clearly how Hannah demonstrated silent prayers at Shiloh (1st Samuel 1:13), Hannah was praying in her heart and from her heart, and her lips were moving but her voice was not heard, Eli thought she was drunk.
"Your voice is not expected to be heard no matter how expensive your prayers might be; those Angels that are working at that moment only listen to people that follow the rules of the silent prayer.
"So when it is time for silent prayers, don't ever overdo it, do not let your voice disturb others while praying, follow the rules of silent prayer so as for the angels to grant your heart desires at that moment." he wrote.
