The delegates of the Annual Youth Conference had just been dismissed by organizers of the event to have some rest after a long but interesting lecture by Senior Evangelist S.O Odeyemi.
Many dashed out of the auditorium, hoping to return for the talent hunt display which do serve as the closing activities of the Youth Conference, but were surprised upon hearing that the break had been called off, because another lecture was about to take place.
As soon as he was introduced and called upon to speak to the delegates, his first statement which was a prophetic prayer, brought back those who were reluctant to come into the auditorium and then the expansive auditorium was silent.
With a silvery voice, Doctor Kunle Hamilton, the coordinator of Shaddai Ville began his seminar titled "Your Career and Success...... A Path To Financial Independence by making use of Ecclesiastes 9:10 and Luke 9:62"
Doctor Hamilton started his speech by saying the youth of the Church are too playful and don't take important issue serious. He said he hasn't come to criticize them, but to inspire them to become better persons in life.
Firstly, he warned against the growing trend of sport betting, stating that it's disastrous to those who engage in it, as it is a poverty mentality.
Also, he warned against the idea of not been educated, stating that those who are educated would always be sought for than those without education.
He stated further that additional training, skills and mentoring must be received by those who want to turn their hobbies into careers.
He finally advised youths of the Church to pursue their career with integrity, honour, posterity, excellent spirit and as exemplary spirit.
