Halleluyah
,Happy 68th anniversary to all Celestials out there, may the grace of God in this great Church continue to flourish in Jesus name. You are welcome.
Today's Topic: Time of Comfort
Text: Zachariah 8: 1-8
Memory Verse: Zachariah 8: 2-3
This is what the Lord Almighty says: “I am very jealous for Zion; I am burning with jealousy for her.” This is what the Lord says: “I will return to Zion and dwell in Jerusalem. Then Jerusalem will be called the Faithful City, and the mountain of the Lord Almighty will be called the Holy Mountain.”
My dear fellow Celestial members with joy and passion I am writing to you.
Today's text came at the right time, a period we need it most, when people, even members of the Church (not just the fleeing ones alone) are loosing hope concerning the restoration of the Church's lost glory.
Although, the situation of the Church is like the book of Prophet Zephaniah 3: 1-4, when you can not rely or trust the sincerity of anyone in the Church.
Our neighbours (other denominations) are saying all sort of things against the Church of Christ.
Those remaining in the church, especially most young ones whom did not experience God's might power in the Church in the days of great Pastor Founder, Pà SBJ Oshoffa are beginning to ask/doubt just like how Gideon did.
But, after all these observations, I have realised that we are all at fault concerning the state of the Church from the oldest to the newest members.
The popular song "gbogbo wa la lowo nibe (2ce) bi ijo mimo se da Loni, gbogbo wa la lowo nibe." The Shepherds, Prophets, Choirs Onibodes, Ministers, and ordinary members etc.
Notably, the youths do to complain about the elders but I fear for the future of this Church if this current Youth take over the affairs of the Church in future.
Finally, for today, my fellow Celestials, we must see our membership as a privilege (CCC Hymn 205 Stanza 2).
Therefore, I charge you my dear reader, not to follow the multitude to do evil in this Church.
Meanwhile, this Church belongs to God, and has a plan for it ("nigba t'Oluwa so ijo mimo kale pelu awon ogun orun mimo .....") Just like Prophet Zachariah's message to Judah (Zachariah 8: 1-8 Please read it, also Zephaniah 3: 19-20)
