As the year 2016 is folding up it sleeves, we have named 8 distinguished individuals, groups, organisations as distinguished Celestians of the year.

Three entities were chosen based on their music prowess, they are the Luli Concert, Elizabeth Emoruwa and the Area G Youth Choir. These trio showed class in 2016 as they inspired members, especially the youths and did the Church proud.

Elizabeth Emoruwa made the list because of her achievement as the First Runner Up of the MTN Project Fame Competition. While Luli Concert was admitted because of the manner in which an event of such magnitude was held with near perfection. Area G Youth Choir made the list owing to the fact that they are the most trendy and currently in vogue youth Choir in the Church.

The strength of Omo Cele, Celestial Ovation and Celestial Online News in the area of New Media bestowed them a place in the list. They are a triad that have given the Church a facelift in the area of the branding.

The duo of two Prophets, Kunle Hamilton and Fisayo Joel made their way into the list because of the way they touched lives with their ministrations.

Joel is Celestial's hottest sensation at the moment in terms of writing article pertaining to issues affecting the fold, members and Christianity as a whole. While Hamilton, popularly called KH, is a seasoned minister who knows how to deliver and motivate young Celestians with his ministrations.
