It really saddens us reading uncouthly comments passed on Reverend Beni Omoge by some members of our great Church who behaved unchristian like.

What was his offence? But first, who is Reverend Beni Omoge?

Reverend Beni Omoge is the successor of Reverend Paul Maforikan, who passed away last year. During the week, it was made known that the faction of the Church which Reverend Omoge controls, would be organising a crusade in the ancient City of Ibadan in Oyo state.

However, some uncultured members, many of whom are Prophets and Shepherds of the Church begin to hurl at the clergy various unprintable names, which should only be heard from political thugs, not those who reside among God's Children.

There action is to undermine Reverend Omoge, in addition God's work with derogatory claims and comments. The Bible quotation below best fit their attitude.

If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal - 1 Corinthians 13:1

Their actions is insensitive, not acceptable and should be condemned by every Celestian irrespective of the faction they belong to, for the reason that we must not give room for members to disrespect the various claimants of the Pastoral seat.

The xenophobic attack and the Church's silence.

A Parish of the Church in South Africa which is shepherded by Prophet Samson Sangojimi was attacked two weeks ago in the re-occuring xenophobic attack which South Africans do inflict on Nigerians and other African immigrants.

Despite the attack, it is sad that the Church hasn't released a statement condemning the attack on the Church in South Africa.

The leadership of our Church, irrespective of the faction, haven't given members of the Church in South Africa glimpse of hope that they stand in solidarity with them and feel the current terror they go through in the former apartheid country.

The only high profile member of the Church who has spoken and condemned the attack is Superior Evangelist Sangojimi, the father of the Shepherd attacked in South Africa.

Steve Pelemo aka BroBro

The love shown to one of the Church's Music Mastreo, Steve Pelemo aka BroBro, when the news broke that he had been struck with Cerebrovascular Accident, popular called stroke is worth acknowledging.

Members of the Church from all divide, stood up to support with various forms of campaigns, so as to make other members and non members of the Church aware of Baba BroBro plight.

It is important, that we regard every member of our Church in high esteem, irrespective of whom the person supports as the Pastor of the Church.

We did extremely well for Baba BroBro and we must never seize in exhibiting kindness towards every Celestian that come our way.
