A Parish during New Moon Service |
Elizabeth made this known in an article posted on her Facebook page.
In the article she highlighted the need for women observing their menstrual period to avoid coming to the Church premises and the need for baptism of new convert.
She stressed that these two doctrines are two of the Church's doctrines and tenets which seem negligible in modern era but very significant.
She opined that the nonchalant attitude of some members regarding these two areas created problem for the Church.
"I realized some of the problems we are encountering in the CCC are as a result of pollution caused by some people or members amidst the fold or church because of their nonchalant attitudes towards the rules and some of the doctrines given." Elizabeth noted.
Liz who is based in Northern Nigeria, observed that a good number of ladies in the Church do not observe the doctrine of not coming to the Church or its premises during their menstruation, as their actions disengage the Holy Spirit from working.
"Some Celestial ladies do this especially during the Harvest, Special Sundays, etc, by deciding to enter the Church with the flow.
"This will definitely affect the Church and disengage the Holy Spirit from doing their works.
"A Church where the spirit of the Lord is not working then discord will always be the spirit there." she said.
On the baptism of new convert, she quoted the Church's Constitution as saying:
"Nobody shall be considered a member of the Church until he has been baptized in the Celestial Church irrespective of any previous baptism from the previous denomination."
She explained that the baptism is important so as to clean new convert from their spiritual filthiness.
"Some people are spiritually dirty and they need cleansing but when they eventually refuse to clean up and they entered the Church, what do you expect?
"This will definitely bring set back because two incompatible human can't work in the House of God, it's either one destroy or the other build." she noted.

I disagree. Isn't it better we dump our doctrines and tenets? They are old.
ReplyDeleteAnd what are we to embrace, even the written words in the Bible are of Olds, God himself gave us the tenets and he is Arugbo Ojo that can never change. So why should we abandon or change the doctrines given to us by him. If at all there is anything needed for the improvement of the church, then it lies in the hand of every member Of the church, old and young, male and female. Let us all checkmate ourselves.
