The near completion of the basilica of the church at Imeko in Ogun State, had given room for the authority of the church to think of other projects that may be situated at the worldwide headquarters of the church.

The projects waiting in the pipeline are the thoughts of acquiring of a licence to build and operate a university, will make the church join the league of other denominations that have universities credited to them. Also a huge retail mall that will serve the needs of faithfuls whenever they are at the holy land is also being though of.

The hints of these two projects was made public by Superior Evangelist Pius Olarewaju, a member of the church's Board of Trustees in an article published Celestial News Online.

In the publication, Superior Evangelist Pius, was quoted as saying, "We are not just going to stop here after the basilica, we still have a lot of work to do.




"We have the university project to take care of; we have to start work on how to see to building a supermarket for the Celestial Church in this heart of Imeko. Everything we do here has the backing of God and of course, the endorsement of all the BOT."
