Why some Yoruba Nollywood stars love to attend Celestial Church - Adediwura Adesegha

Ardent followers of Nigeria's Yoruba movies will not be new to the usage of parishes and the instruments of worship associated with Celestial Church of Christ in Nigeria's foremost movie industry. A good number of Celestians however frown at this act.

Adediwura in a chat with the Vanguard shedded more light on why many Yoruba nollywood acts, especially the females, prefer attending Celestial churches.

She said: “You know people love it when they tell them visions about themselves. I think that may be the reason they attend Celestial churches. I might be wrong though.

"You know the Yorubas believe in the power of the spiritual. Some actresses were born into the Celestial Church while some joined.”
