 Although the musician was referring to way and manner some clergies in Nigeria churches do exploit female members of their congregation, members of the Celestial Church see the usage of the church's paraphernalia in the scene as a misrepresentation of what the church stand for and an attempt to paint the church black.

A Celestian by the name Taiwo Taiwo said "Sir, before you decided to use the regalia of the church, you should have actually worship and learn the ways of the church. The way and manner you had described Celestial Church in this video is not the norm and doctrine of the church. On this note, you owe the church a sincere apology.

While Andrew Olarenwaju was of the opinion that the musician's analysis in the video was just, but it would have been better if he has used those in plain clothes. "In the scene Falz narrated the sorry state of the Nigeria church, but he should have made use of a clergy and a congregation whose denominations isn't pronounced. He just sold us in a very negative manner.

One for the church's vocal social media enthusiast, Michael Folorunsho made it known that, "He (Falz) linked Celestial to sexual harassment in the name of deliverance, while we know that some shepherds (pastors) cannot be exonerated from this acts, it is not synonymous to Celestial alone, that's what infuriates me."
