The symposium held in memorial of the 33rd Remembrance of the founding Pastor of the Church, Reverend SBJ Oshoffa on Saturday, witnessed a revelation which gives an answer to the question of whether women in the fold should minister or evangelise in the church.

The General Coordinator of the Lagos State Sisters' Unit, Mother in Celestial, Yetunde Odeyemi provided the answer while speaking on the topic, Women in CCC: The Limit of Doctrines. She urged female members of the fold to take up God's work as appropriate as possible, because Christ want everyone, irrespective of the sex to be workers in his vineyard and they would be asked what role they played in evangelizing the gospel.

She encouraged female members to push aside the school of thought which discourages them from giving lecture (preach) during programmes, because she did the same before the founder of the Church in Rowe Park, in Yaba, Lagos.

Odeyemi who holds a Masters degree in Educational Administration from the University of Lagos said she and her husband were very close to Oshoffa and they ate with him and also queried him about issues regarding the Church doctrines. Odeyemi also declared that she was the first female to address women in the church, before Reverend Alexandra Abiodun Bada.
