In a bid to pacify members of the church after the donation of a sum of ₦25 Million to the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Ogun and Lagos State Governments, Ketu may hasten its desire to give cash donations to church workers as palliatives.

About a month ago, a press statement signed by Reverend EMF Oshoffa was made public. The statement requested that church workers should submit their bank account details with May 1st as deadline. The decision of the church to give the cash donation to the government of Ogun State, Lagos State and the National Centre for Disease Control without giving to church workers have been criticised by members.

However, in a chat with, SVMSE Kayode Ajala
Chairman, Press, Publicity and Publications Committee of the Church, it was revealed that the church is currently working on the account numbers. Evangelist Kayode said, “Data is being collated. The Pastor In Council should meet soon to iron out modalities.”

Also a member who is privileged to be aware of the internal working of Ketu, who pleaded anonymity, agreed that SVMSE Kayode Ajala statement is correct, but added that as a result of the current backlash of the ₦25 Million donation, “Ketu will now have to hasten up, in order to give church workers the promised palliatives as promised, in order to appease the agitation of church members. Celestians should not worry, our church workers will soon smile to the bank,” our source said.
