An on-going discussion on Celesphere raised by Oshoba Julius asking if it is right to clap for preachers after sermon is currently receiving lot of comments from members.

Also commenting on the discussion, son of late claimant of the pastoral seat of the Church, Reverend Alexandra Bada, John Bada gave reasons why members should not clap for preachers after delivering sermons.

In his comment he wrote: "Why we don't clap in our church is because clapping disorganise the spirit in the body. When there is no state of peace in the body the holy spirit wants to leave it, it cannot stay in a condition of confusion and disharmony. The body and the soul must be calm to receive God. It's a spiritual church.

"Don't you know all powers belongs to God and we can do nothing without him and no one share his glory with him except his son our lord and saviour Jesus Christ. Many great things will be happening in the spirit during the sermon because God is in charge and that is his hour.

"It is only if that preacher is giving lecture and not in spirit that he will assume and arrogate the preaching and it's success to himself and not to God because when God speaks no one will dare clap but be somber and of contrite heart and the fear of him.

"The next that will happen is to go on your knees and repent of your sins and misdemeanors and asked for his forgiveness and he will forgive you if you are truly sincere. His word is not out to impressed anyone but to do his work and uphold his truth who is Christ Jesus."
