Baba Kuti becomes the first Shepherd of Imeko Basilica

Venerable Superior Evangelist J.S Kuti has been appointed as the Shepherd in Charge of Imeko Basilica, in Ogun State.

Superior Evangelist Amadiowei Godsglory Opudu announced on Facebook on Friday.

Opudu wrote that; "Baba Kuti has been appointed as the Shepherd in charge of CCC Basilica. He will still keep his position as Ikorodu Divisional Evangelist."

Kuti is a shepherd who has travelled and been transferred to major parishes of the Church in Nigeria. He once headed, CCC Army Barrack Parish, in Ibadan, Oyo State, CCC Ijaiye Arch Diocesan Headquarters in Abeokuta, Ogun State, amongst others.

Those who know him see the announcement as a huge development, as Taiwo Afolayan describe him as the "world best shepherd."
