Thief Targets Celestial Church in Staten Island, Escapes with Over $9,000 Worth of Items

New York – The Celestial Church of Christ, Staten Island Parish, has been hit by a daring thief not once, not twice, but three times in a matter of weeks, leaving the congregation counting their losses.

 

The first incident occurred on December 11, 2024, around 10 p.m., when the suspect reportedly broke in through a locked back door. He carted away electronics worth about $4,000, according to police sources.

 

Barely six weeks later, on January 28, 2025, at about 1 a.m., the church was struck again. This time, the intruder targeted musical equipment valued at approximately $1,200.

 

Shockingly, just two days later, on January 30, at 11 p.m., the burglar staged a third attack, escaping with another $4,000 worth of equipment and supplies.

 

Church members are in distress over the repeated attacks, and the police are now calling on the public to help identify the suspect.
