In a discussion on whether clergies in Celestial Church should seek further knowledge in theology and other Christian studies, a high ranking clergy of the church Assistant Venerable Superior Evangelist Afisuru Peter Kiki, popularly known as AVSE Afis Kiki has added his voice to this popular debate.

In his response, the former shepherd of Nigeria's National Headquarters, Makoko explained that it is a must for clergies in the fold to seek more knowledge if they want to be more excellent in rendering quality service of the ministry work to members.

Although, he asserted that Celestial Church of Christ is above any Bible College or University Degrees, but established that acquiring formal biblical knowledge will make clergies outstanding like Apostle Paul, who was more advanced than the disciples who ate and wine (dine) with Christ.

"But for a more excellent and qualitative service in the body of Christ, it is not an offence to seek for knowledge. You can 't compare Paul the apostle with any other one, even with those that ate and wine with Christ." the clergy declared.
