CCB: There are two groups claiming to be the Unification group, the first led by Evang Opaleye and the new one, led by Evang Tosho. What do you think about this?
Eniyansoro: It is what I call division but understand that we are stili one Celestial. Tosho should have reason with the Opaleye group before naming another unification.
When Baba councilor, the Oluso of Oshodi 1 was still alive, he do tell me to claim d Pastor seat too because he was there when it happened but I though it was a joke.
However, when people keep coming as Pastor, division will give room for failure. I pray that God of Celestial open our eyes, hearts & ears to the things that is holy and acceptable.
CCB: Are you saying you also have the calling to become the pastor of the Church
Eniyansoro: No. During one of Oshoffa's visit to Oshodi. I was a young boy then but I wanted to know his name & told him 2 comb his hair. When I called him old man, Baba Elegbede, the Oluso rebuked me saying 'Oloyinbo ti e po alakowe ni e' (Fair one, you are too inquisitive and educated).
Oshoffa came and said 'file' (leave him). 'Pastor ni, to ba to asiko adi Pastor' (He's a Pastor, he will become a Pastor at the appropriate time).
He (Oshoffa) patted me and laughed with Baba Elegbede. Then I understood yoruba but cannot speak very well. He told me that I am surrounded by many enemies from family and brethen like him.
It was some how weird, so I took a walk. You cannot believe, I am a Cape Elder despite joining the Church in 1979. I never seen a single sign of been a Celestial pastor as I dislike being a Shepherd in the Church.
CCB: But the term Pastor could be that you will be a Pastor in one of the pentecostal churches?
Eniyansoro: I can work toward that but not a Celestial Pastor. I am single til date. All my immediate brothers & sisters are now in Redeem Christian Church of God & Winner Chapel.
I have been called to join them but I changed my mind when ever I recall my encounter with the tall man that I label a 20th century gift to Africa.
CCB: What is your take about the struggle for the pastoral seat?
Eniyansoro: I see in my dream that Tosho moved to unite elders of the Church, so he is the only one I can advice to take more action than words.
Other pastors should be invited together at a gathering to choose through a due process, the individual that will emerge as the Pastor. Then they can work out others like diocesan Pastors in Countries & Deputy Pastors in States with huge numbers of Celestial Churches.
CCB: Do you think this plan of yours can work?
Eniyansoro: Only if God approve it, because it has to do with time. God is the Lord of time. Humility and understanding must be injected into them using the gospel impact. Then let's leave the rest to God. He will make us finish well.
CCB: What's you view about the draft constitution stating that candidates for the Pastoral title must be University Graduates
Eniyansoro: Absolutely zero. Since the trustees are filled with many professionals, the Pastor merely need to understand English with his native tongue.
At the same time, I do not condemn it, but it should not be made compulsory. 'Kise ogbon textbook lafi da ijo mimo' (It's not the Knowledge of Textbook that was used in creating Celestial Church). If God can send a carpenter with no Primary School testimonial, why should Bsc qualification be compulsory?
Also, a personal assistant who's loyal and a graduate can be provided to work with the Pastor.
CCB: What advise do you have for Celestial Church members, especially the youths.
Eniyansoro: When the foundation is destroyed what can the righteous do? Celestial Church members should learn more about the true Celestial Church.
Celestial Church is for us all and we need to do our part and leave the rest 2 the shepherds and Pastors. God knows those who truly worship him.
