Below is the newly recommended remittance and sharing percentage being recommended by the Unification committee set up by 7 elders of the Church.

The sharing percentage is part of reforms the Unification committee is making to ensure the smooth running of the Church.

Page 41 of the draft constitution states:

The schedule below indicates the sub- heads of the remittance from the parishes and their sharing percentages;

S/N, Type of Income, % share for Int. H/quarters %, share for DGC (DIOCESAN GOVERNING COUNCIL), % share for the Parish %, for the Shepherd and Total.

(i) Classcard/ Welfare 10 75 10 5 100

(ii)* Monthly Returns 15 55 30 – 100

(iii) Harvest Returns 20 20 40 20 100

(iv) Parish Registration 50 50 – – 100

(v) Anointment 30 60 – 10 100

* Made-up of: Thanksgiving, Tithe, Collection and Mercy fund.

A research conducted by CCB indicates that this new sharing percentage would be welcomed by members, as many see the sharing percentage currently being used as not favorable to parishes.
