The general youth coordinator of the Church Youth, Senior Evangelist S.O Odeyemi has described some members of the Church as non Christians.

Baba Odeyemi who is the visioner of youths fellowship in the Church, made this known in a seminar titled The Covenant of Christ With Celestial Church of Christ which he presented to delegates of the 17th Annual Youth Conference of the Church.

"They say they are Christians, but they are not Christians, because when problems comes they will run to gods, whom were created by men." he said

Running to these gods, is an indication that they have forsaken Christ, because "when they do this they have forgotten that Jesus is the head of all powers and principalities."

He advised youths of the Church to rely on Jesus Christ alone, as that is what God want. "You must only trust in Jesus Christ alone, you must not trust in any other person except Christ".

Using the Chorus of Hymn 731, the former Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University of Lagos, said if Celestians don't celebrate Jesus, other denominations won't celebrate him.

He canvassed that youths of the Church must carry Jesus Christ about, rather than only in the Church.
