Choir members of the Church have been urged to seek first the kingdom of God rather than money and fame.
This advise came from Brother Peter Obasa at the just concluded Area H Youth Organisation's Annual Choir Night.
Follow us on twitterObasa who was the Word Minister at the event, said "the Voices of most Choir members are not recognized in heaven but on earth" because of their negative attitude toward the work of God.
The alumnus of the University of Lagos, advised that no matter the musical gift one have, one must be able to worship God in Spirit and in truth.
He was of the opinion that Choir members should be more of true worshipers rather than singers.
"A worshiper is someone who sings to worship God. A good singer might pull crowd and sing well, but his mind might not be in worshiping God" he said.
Follow us on twitterHe advised youths of the Church to be prepared to meet God in any Christian programme they attend. Saying "Going to a programme is to meet God, but because a programme has been tagged as Musical Night (or Drama Night) most people will not be prepared.
