It is my pleasure to welcome you to the new episode of my sermon on Celestial Church Blog.

I pray for his grace to reign with God after our sojourn on earth.

The text for the week is Malachi 3: 13-18. The topic is Where Is the God of Justice?

Memory Verse: Malachi 2:17

"All who do evil are good in the eyes of the Lord, and he is pleased with them” or “Where is the God of justice?

The whole book of Malachi protrays a court like setting, where two lawyers engage in professional argument with the intention to vindicate their client.

Malachi, an Oracle of God, represented God, while the Priests, were the advocates of the Israelities. Malachi 1:6-8, 2:13-14, 3:6-8.

Permit me to present some grievances of the Israelities that Christians still maintain till date.

1. All who do evil are good in the eyes of the Lord, and He is pleased with them. 2;17.

2. It is futile to serve God, what do we gain by carrying out his requirements and going about like mourners before the Lord Almighty?

3. The evil doers prosper, and even those who challenge God escape.

The Lord do not delight in the death of a sinner, but for a sinner to repent and be saved.

If a person now dies a sinner with this great grace of repentance, it is going to be a sorry case.

Kindly read the following Mal 3: 16-18, Psalm 51:13, I Timothy 1:5.

Remain blessed in the Lord. Bro Enigbokan Omosehin
