Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
The scriptural reading for the week is Philippians 1: 27-30. The topic is "Don't Only Believe In Christ"
My dear, I strongly advice that you read and meditate on the full letter of Paul to the Saints in Christ Jesus at Philippi in Chapter One.
I will like to lay emphasis on his message in the last four verses that serve as the text for the week's sermon.
In verse 27, Paul advised that we should always conduct ourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ.
Whether we are comfortable or having some challenges, we should still comport ourselves.
Another core message is that we should stand firm in one Spirit contending as one man for the faith of the gospel without being frightened.
The physical absence of Christ is affecting the conduct of many. One may logically conclude that the Christians in the days of Christ on earth were better Christians. Rev 14:6, Acts 20:24, Rom 15:16.
Those who oppose you will be destroyed but you (a born again) will be saved. According to Paul, you are not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for him too.
I pray for the grace to conduct ourselves till his second appearance. Remain blessed. Bro. Enigbokan Omosehin
