Bro. Enigbokan Omosehin
Halleluyah,

I sincerely appreciate you for creating time to read my column on this platform. I pray the Lord grants your needs according to His riches in glory.

The text for the week is Deuteronomy 16: 9-17. The topic is "Guidelines for Feast."

Feast in this context is defined as a day or time of the year when a special religious celebration takes place, e.g The Jewish feast of Passover.

I belief and as popularly accepted by Christians in our time, that there are modifications in titles and period of the year that we appear (feast) before the Lord.

The popular notice concerning the times we appear are Easter, Harvest Thanksgving and Christmas.

The fixed guidelines for our feast include the following:

1. Present offering in proportion to the blessings the Lord your God has given you. Deuteronomy 16:10

2. Feast before the Lord your God at the place He will choose as a dwelling for His name. Deuteronomy 16:11(a)

3. Invite and present all relatives and aliens before the Lord. Deuteronomy 16:11(b)

4. Be joyful at your feast. Deuteronomy 16:14

5. No man should appear before the Lord empty handled. Deuteronomy 16:16(b)

Meditate on these guidelines and present an acceptable feast unto the Lord. God bless you. Bro. Enigbokan Omosehin
