I gladly welcome you to the first day and the first episode of my sermon on Celestial Church Blog in the year 2016. The text for the sermon is Phi. 3v1-11 and the topic is Esthablished Confidence in the Lord
As we begin the journey of a new year today, I want to lay emphasis on the features of an esthablished confidence in the Lord. The features will help at building and maintaining a sound confidence in the Lord.
The features include:
1. Knowing God and having a personal encounter (relationship) with Him.
2. Sincere fellowship with God's brethren.
3. Adherance to His commandments.
4. Understanding and practising the concept of Trinity.
5. Faithfulness to the Lord in all situations.
6. Sincere commitment to activities and programmes in the Church.
7. Regular study and application of the word of God (the Bible).

As the scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in Him will never be put to shame"
Till I come your way next week, put the whole of your trust (Confidence) in the Lord.
