Year 2016 has launched into action proper with full activities from all spheres of life. I welcome you to the second episode of my sermon on Celestial Church Blog.

 The text is Pro. 12v14-18. And the topic is "The work of the hands rewards".

Proverbs is such a wonderful book of the Bible with each verse having unique topic(s). The topic for the sermon is from v14b.

I will like to discuss the topic from both the secular and Biblical points of view. The hands are used to represent the entire body of man in the topic.

The 14a in verse made reference to the lips. It is expected that all men (human beings) are aware of the rewards attached to all work. Be it good or bad.

Below are some basic facts about work and rewards:
1. An individual get involve in both the secular and Biblical works.
2. The work determines the reward.
3. Majority ignorantly dares the consequences (rewards) of their evil work.
4. The major reward of work in Biblical terms is eternity in hell or in paradise.
5. Collegues, Friends and family has great influence on our work but cannot influence the reward. esp. Biblical works.
6. Man is free to decide on the kind of work, but he lack control over the reward.
7. Pay attention to your works for the angels keeps records of them all.
(Mt. 5v29; Lk. 12v5; 23v43; Rev. 2v7).
