Great is thy faithfulness oh Lord. The Lord is ever faithful and compassionate. I greet you all for the 2016 lent period. A time to commemorate the trial - ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ. The scriptural reading for the week is John 2v13-22. The topic is "Sacredness of the Temple".

Our Lord Jesus Christ returned to Jerusalem when the Passover of the Jews was at hand. According to the text, Christ was not comfortable with the unholy activities going on in the temple. He instantly jumped into action to cleanse the Temple.

Dear reader , I will like to discuss the topic from two point of view . The temple as a place of worship according to text and our body as the Temple of the Lord.

Christian leaders and of course the whole congregation must make effort at getting rid of the Church all activities that are not biblically proved.

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own. 1 Cor. 6v19 NIV. Eph. 5v3; Lev. 19v28; 1 Cor. 6v13.

Cleansing of the Temple and our body is a perfect way of having a good fellowship with God. God is Holy and those that will worship Him must do so in holiness and purity.
