How has been your week? I welcome you to my weekly sermon on Celestial Church Blog. The text for the week is Deut. 1 vs. 1 - 11. The topic is " Go Take Possession".
God had to address (remind) Moses again in verse eight concerning His fulfilled promise. " See, I have given you this land, Go in and take possession of the land that the Lord swore He would give to your fathers - to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - and to their descendants after them."
Brethren, the following facts can be deduced from verse eight of the scriptural reading.
1. God fulfils promise. Mt. 26 vs. 28; Lk 22 vs. 20; 1 Cor. 1 Co 11 vs 25; 2 Sam 7; Gen. 6 : 18.
2. One with God is a Majority. The age, experience, size, wealth etc are not relevant when God is fighting one's battle.
3. Like Moses, we tend to doubt God over settled matters.
4. God will always remind and encourage His beloved concerning His promises.
5. As humans, most times we give our challeges much attention that we hardly noticed God prescence.
May the good Lord strenghten our faith.
