This year Celestial Church Blog selects 8 individuals, events and groups who visibly influenced, inspired members and were the most talked about among members of Celestial Church in year 2016. In no particular order we give you the 8 Celestians of the year.

Luli Concert

This is the biggest and the best thing that happened to Celestial Church of Christ in the year 2016. Celestians and non Celestians alike, were stupefied at the fanciful manner the Concert was organised. This is an event Celestians whose memory won't fade away in the mind of Celestians in years to come.

Elizabeth Emoruwa
Our beautiful and young Miss Emoruwa took the world by surprise as she became the first open Celestian to win a top price at one of the highly priced Music Competition in Nigeria. She was the First Runner Up at the eleventh edition of MTN Project Fame. Elizabeth got the support of Celestians, especially the youths while the competition lasted.

Omo Cele

This is one classic brand within the Church that promote the Church positively on Social Media in the year in view. The Facebook account of Omo Cele is always adorned with beautiful pictures of members and the promotion of upcoming events in the Church.


Alonge Michael (Celestial News Online)
He is the publisher of Celestial News Online. An online news publication outfit which publish news about the Church and other matters relating to Christianity. During the year in review, Alonge, who is a Honorary Most Senior Evangelist in the fold, has helped in promoting the brand of the Church by reporting stories about the Church.

On Saturday December 24th, 2016 his Organisation, CNO awarded 14 members of the Church for their outstanding performance at Imeko Parish 1.


Celestial Ovation

Modeled after Dele Momodu's Ovation Magazine, Celestial Ovation, like Omo Cele, also promotes the Church through the display of high quality pictures of classic events held in the Church. Recently Celestial Ovation ventured into television, by broadcasting on some pay television stations.

Area G Mass Choir

This is the Youth Choir currently in vogue in the Church. Their performance at the Luli Concert was top notch, as they blended different genres of music seamlessly. Also, they were the host choir at the this year's National Youth Conference.

Joel Fisayo
This is one individual who made the timeline of Celestians on Facebook very interesting in 2016. His expository articles about the Church are nothing but class. Fisayo is one of the shinning light among the youths in the Church.

Prophet Kunle Hamilton
Hamilton is the President of Shaddai Ville, an inter-denominational ministry in the Church which build Christians to become great individuals that would become the best in their chosen field.

In 2016, Prophet Kunle ministered on areas ranging from building Christian values, New Media, relationships and the likes in more than 15 programmes.
