Compliment of the season to you. Christ is the reason for the season. The test for the sermon is 1 Samuel 2: 1-11. The topic is " Holy Lord".

The topic is gotten from verse 2 of the scriptural reading. Hanah confirmed the holiness of the Lord when she offered prayers to the Lord for the birth of Samuel at her old age. In her comprehensive prayer to the Lord, Hanah emphasized on three things.

Firstly, she announced the supremacy of the Lord. She mentioned God as the one that has power to solve any problems and that man should not be proud or take glory of any success or testimony. 1 Samuel 2: 1-6.

Secondly, Hanah observed in her prayer that the Lord is aware of the good and ugly things in this world. Most importantly that the Lord is mindful of the righteous and always willing to compensate them with the good things of this world and make them reign with Him in paradise. Lk 23:43, 2 Cor. 12:4; Rev 2:7.

Lastly brethren, she made mention of the portion of the wicked and those that oppose the Lord.
