Celestial is a divine church with different departments or parts working for a single body(1cor 12:20).
Shepherds, ushers, prophets, choristers, evangelists etc are all parts of the body working fully and mainly for the body (Christ) (1cor 12:28).
One of the parts of Christ's body is the sidemen/women(ushers) and in which they are the second in command after the pastor representatives in a Parish (Shepherd).
They are to keep guard or watch the temple's gate(s) and some other temple duties such as cleaning, offering collections etc.
Celestial church is a divine setting which is very important in unraveling heavenly mysteries that abound in the spiritual realm. The celestial gate is composed of "5 door posts" each signifying different meanings as to the door post but the combination of all (5door posts) is called " the 5 salvation door gates" because celestial building is a temple in the lord (Rev 21:22).
Each 5 doors are safe guarded by the sidemen/women who represents angels keeping watch of the heavenly temple and the angels are similar to an Angel keeping watch of the garden of Eden(Gen 3:24).
The four qualities of an effective sideman/woman as to God's preferred work.
Spiritually Fit: Sidemen/women are main targets of the dark world or powers because no thief can come through the door without binding the gate keeper.
A sideman/woman must be spiritually fit since the world (church) is a battle field against the dark world, hence they must possess the spirituality of becoming effective in their disposition (2cor 10:45).
Prayer Warrior: A keeper asleep will only endanger the occupants. Prayers is the only key to being awake spiritually because it take a mighty to snatch the prey from the captives.
Sidemen/women are prayer warriors because they are the rescuer and even the keeper of the church(congregation) from unseen forces. (Eph 6:16-18).
Responsibility To Duties: A Christian who fail in his/her responsibilities in the church of God will be judged and cursed hence the reason why the fig tree was cursed by Jesus showing the importance of fulfuling one's duty in the church of God( Mark 11:12-14). CCC hymn 694" kasise fun iwenu mo emi wa...."
This explains and remind all that we must all work in the vineyard of God for a better reward in heaven, hence the reason why Jesus said there are many mansions up in heaven(only for the qualified){John 14:1-3).
Contentment: Contentment is a virtue which must be possessed by all Christians not only the ushers alone. A man without contentment will suffer punishment.
Achan was a man who was not contented with what he had but was condemned to death after disobeying God by bringing Israelites into a sense of darkness(sin-punishment). A sideman/ woman must be contented with whatever he/she has, else Satan make his/her heart a workshop for evil.(Joshua 7:20-21).
