The Lord in His infinite mercy had revealed many years ago through His son -Jesus Christ the case of false prophets that would flood the world. Therefore, if anyone be victim of false prophet, then the person should be "blamed".
Permit me to emphasize some facts pertaining the case of false prophets.
1. The presence of false prophets on earth had been foretold. Matt. 7:15.
2.The false prophets "wolves" would disguise in "sheep's clothing". The intention is to decieve many.
3. Verses 16-20 of the text gave us perfect clue to identify the false prophets. Meaning anyone they deceive now can be regarded to be victim of ignorance.
4. The perfect understanding and application of the word of God is a major tool that would save one from the tatics of the false prophets.
5. Ignorance of the activities of false prophets will not be an excuse on the day of judgement.
6. The false prophets and their victims shall be judged on the last day.
7. False prophets increases in their number. They deceive people by claiming to be fellow christian. Be wise!!!.
