A prototype design of the Imeko Basilica
A lot of Celestians have often not been pleased with the state of what should be the most priced monument of the Church, the Imeko Cathedral. This Cathedral which has been re-christened as the CCC Imeko Basilica has been uncompleted for more than 3 decades.

The new building committee who are in charge of this commendable feat are working assiduously to beat the December deadline set for them by Reverend Emmanuel Oshoffa.



In appealing to members of the Church on the need to support the project, the leader of the building committee was quoted to have said that members were right to be aggrieved about the way the building of the Basilica had been in the past, but also have the duty to support it now as renewed effort is being put in place to get the project complete.

Sources hinted that the completion of the Basilica is expected to cost ₦450 Million and members can contribute to the success of the project by paying ₦1000 for seven months into a dedicated account number meant for the building project, making it a minimum amount of ₦7,000 per every working member.

This is a laudable project, let everyone support this.
