Elizabeth Emoruwa performing at the 2016 Luli Concert
The winner of the 1st Runner-up position at last year's MTN Project Fame, Elizabeth Emoruwa said her mum was kept in the dark initially about her plan to contest for the competition

Elizabeth who has a frontal diastema made this known during her performance at the Annual Youth Conference of the Church, #CCCAYC2017 at the Oshoffa Miracle Fortress in Ogun State.

Elizabeth said she told her mum she was going to school, while she was planning to go for the competition. She hinted that her mum was a mother who doesn't want any problem for her children.

"My mother would say, she doesn't want any trouble. She doesn't want any publicity. If I had told her I was going for the competition, she won't have allowed me. I informed my elder brother and sister. My mum only knew about it when she saw me on TV.

"Two years before I contested, my friends have been advising that I should go for MTN Project Fame. But I didn't go for it. But last year, I got the conviction within me, then I proceeded to apply and I was called" Elizabeth declared.

Elizabeth encouraged youths of the Church to always believe in God and have the conviction in them before taking up any task. She said the conviction they have would always make them successful.

The graduate of The Polytechnic, Ibadan told participants at the conference, that the Church is a place filled with many talented youths. She encouraged them never to lose focus as everyone would achieve their dreams at the appointed time.
