Sup Evang Pius with his award, certificate and medal
The chairman of the building committee in charge of completing the Imeko Basilica, Superior Evangelist Pius Olanrewaju, has called on members of the church to work together in moving the church to the a greater place.

Pius made this known, in a statement after he was honoured and awarded for his invaluable contributions to the growth of the Celestial Church of Christ in particular and for his philanthropic activities to humanity in general at the award and dinner night held in commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the church in Lagos on Saturday, 23 September.

This was made known in a Facebook post by SMSE Kayode Ajala. In the post, Kayode quoted Pius, who is a member of the Pastor in Council (MPIC) as saying:



"I'm truly humbled by this award. I dedicate this award to the Pastor of the church, Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa and to all Celestians all over the world, as I call on them to join hands and put their shoulders to the mills as we all move our great church to the next level of glory. May God help us all. Amen."
