The transfer of shepherds to their places of primary assignment (parishes), is an issue with a lot of interests and intrigues at play.

While delivering his lecture at the just concluded Annual Youth Conference of the Church, #CCCAYC, held at Oshoffa Miracle Fortress in Ifo, Ogun State, Evangelist Shittu said he often advise shepherds not to lobby anyone so as to be transferred to profitable parishes.

He advised participants and shepherds on the need for them not to cut corners on their way to success.

"Many of us want to skip the process and become millionaires or get to the top quickly. No matter how remote the parish, the shepherd will be sought after. If God has chosen you (shepherd), he will sponsor you.

Shittu who spoke on the topic, Scriptures, Church History and CCC, also explained that God expected Adam to have repented after he had sinned.

"There was a window of opportunity for him to repent. Rather he went into hiding, blaming God and the woman God gave him. This is why many of us are in sin. We hide our transgressions like Adam. The iniquities we refuse to confess, will always wait for us in the future" Shittu said.pp
