The effort of the Nigeria government in the eradication of corruption have been described as an uphill task, which only God can assist the government in achieving.

Evangelist Molehin made this known while responding to questions from a journalist who works for Nigeria Tribune.

He said: "Nigeria is far behind, and truth be told, it is not as if we don’t know the right thing but we are not ready to do the right thing and follow the right path because of corruption.

"Some privileged few have decided to fill their coffers with treasures meant to develop this country, and the poverty level has skyrocketed. Despite the commitment of this present administration to alleviate poverty, it is so sad that they have done little or nothing to help the situation.

"At this point, only God can help us. We need genuine people of faith in politics. When we have leaders who fear God, they will do the right thing, and it is my desire to see a new order, where God-fearing believers will stand at the helm of the affairs of this country and this country will be a better place to be.

"Our political system is full of unbelievers and till believers take over the affairs of leadership, there won’t be positive change."
