Tithes and offerings || Church leaders should be transparent - Evang Michael Molehin

The increasing call for church leaders to be transparent about how tithes and offerings are spent has been backed by the Evangelist Segun Michael Molehin.

Molehin made his known in an interview with the Sunday edition of the Nigeria Tribune. In the interview, the shepherd of Celestial Church of Christ (CCC), Ayo Ugbe, Ikare Akoko, Ondo State, said " the lack of transparency and the desire of church leaders to lord over their members is the bedrock of corruption taking place in the church.

"Lack of transparency is another factor – church leaders are not open to their members about things they need to know but they want to lord their wishes over the people and control their affairs." Molehin said in the interview.
