Prophetess Olubukola Olutayo Leoso
It is in the nature of humans to exhibit the desire to be influential and lord over others. A good number of those in leadership positions in the church are guilty of this.

Below is a tribute to Prophetess Olubukola Olutayo Leoso the creator of the best Celestial Church based Facebook Group, Ijo Mimo Ti Kristi Lati Orun Wa and did what is uncommon among leaders in our church.

Only very few people know that the creator of this group is a female. It is not forbidden that a female creates a celestial group, neither is it strange or out of place, but what is worthy of emulation and commendation is that this woman has NEVER EVER EVER thrown it to anyone's face that she is the creator of this group.

At the groups inception I joined like any other members then, one day we had a passionate discussion about celestial church of Christ, the following morning I woke up to a notification of being made an administrator of the group with a task to join seasoned men and woman of celestial to administer this group.

This group has stood up to many issues in celestial church of Christ from the day of its creation. People tried to put discord among us as administrators, many people called this woman and told her some of the very vocal admins among us are trying to take the group away from her. She sent us voice recordings of various calls of people telling her to remove certain of the admins and solely take charge of the group. Some advised her to be in absolute control because she has given too much power to the admins. This issue caused a little ruffle among the admins, some quit, some drew back in participating at that time because of this terrible accusations.

Noticing this set back she made calls to all the admins even the ones in Nigeria making known her intention not to follow the ill advise but that her aim is that all Celestials find a common ground to unite in knowledge, understanding and reasoning. She added back the admins who quit.

In other to reaffirm her love and commitment for the group and celestial church of Christ and to show that she did not create the group for ownership but for love, faith and unity, she made a decision which is told us, and that decision was that she will not show up as the creator of the group, neither will she preside over administrative decision, that she will only be making post on biblical issues whenever she is inspired to. A decision she has kept till today!!!

This act not only strengthened the admin it invariably strengthened the group. No one saw or has seen the group as his or her own but the group is seen as owned by celestial church of Christ (even though it is a social media group). Interesting during this trying period, non of the admins created a separatist group!!! And till today none of the admins have created any personal Facebook group.



The problem of celestial church of Christ today is leadership and position which is characterized by greed, selfishness and covetousness. This woman has shown an example of how we can solve the problems that is facing us as a nation and even as a church. That true leadership is in been lead rather than leading. Being lead not by sentiments, selfishness or greed but being lead by love and the Holy Spirit, putting the truth over and above your pride and your will.

This is what is difficult for many of our leaders and even followers to do today. It is even scarier that women now own churches and preside over them against the orders of celestial church of Christ. Prophetess Olubukola Olutayo Leoso has demonstrated that even though she is a woman being in charge goes beyond name and fame, being in charge should not put your sentiments over unity, love and the will of Christ.
