The need for a good dispute resolution structure has again presented itself as established in the case of a shepherd who sued a parish and the Church's Diocese in the United States of America, because he was falsely accused of committing adultery. The lawyers of Evangelist Daniel Adeyekun and his wife Olashile Adeyekun filed a lawsuit on November 15, 2017 against the USA Diocese, Chicago Oshoffa Parish, and several Church Clerics, Elders and Members.

Daniel Adeyekun claimed that because of the false allegations against him, he was expelled from the ministry with immediate effect and barred from officiating throughout the United States of America.





The publication explained the Church’s own internal investigations proved all these allegations against Daniel Adeyekun to be patently false but yet Adeyekun was unfairly disciplined and punished.
