Prophet Israel Oladel Ogundipe Genesis with wife, son family.
The discussion against polygamy within the fold is one of the issues clergies shy away from. This topic is avoided as much as possible in the fold.
Also, the church do not have any publicly known position against the act of polygamy by members as other Christian denominations do.
However, the Shepherd-in-Charge of Genesis Model Parish, Prophet Israel Oladele Ogundipe has publicly spoken against polygamy. In a rare case which is not common in the church, Ogundipe emphatically stated that his parish do not welcome the presence of polygamous men as members.
Ogundipe while ministering in Isheri-Idimu, venue of Genesis World Outreach mid week interdenominational service, stated that he is not allowed to marry more than one wife because he must be seen as a good example to members of his congregation, as no one must make members of his congregation uncomfortable in any form.

many of his female members have many men friends, some even married to church member and i know one or two very well. some are choir members. other ranking senior member have girls. l as a victim, 419, liars, one man had to be taken to police command in IKEJA with series of lies to extort money from him over a million , property , this man had to settled the matter. The shepherd knows the lady am talking about. Prophet Israel is an honorable celestian, but many of the church member are not good, he need to continue preaching against them and the act of fornicational practices. Please do not allow every jeek and harry into the house opposite your church some are witch and children of the devil

Polygamist is not a barrier to the church. If you are capable of getting married to more than one wife, better do so rather than being associated with fornication and adultery. If we are preaching one man and one woman in Celestial and we are going against polygamist, that means we call our founder (SBJ) as a fool that doesn't know what he's doing. Note:God saw him to be a polygamist before calling him. And he used him more that people with one wife so what are we talking about. Is there any Bible verse in the scripture that preaches against polygamist? Most man of God in the scripture are polygamist, still God called them someone like his heart. Have you forgotten people like Abraham, James, David and so on. More so getting married to one wife or wives is not a passport to the kingdom of God.
