Pastors of Celestial Church

The roles of landlord shepherds is a sensitive matter in the fold. Interestingly, these are one of the most dedicated clergies in Celestial Church but some members see these set of shepherds as too powerful.

One of such members is Ayodele Adebayo Omoniyi. He made his opinion known in his response to our post on the establishment of a code of conduct for clergies in the fold, Ayodele expressed worries that the development is dead on arrival in as much as there are landlord shepherds in the church, as they have the power to declare themselves as pastors when they feel threatened by the church authorities.




Ayodele wrote: "Good move, but it's not the code of conduct that would bring discipline, it's the ability to be able to enforce the law and the first issue is the "landlord Shepherd "syndrome. Unless such people are made to handover the Church to the Celestial body properly by surrendering the title documents it would be a near impossible task to discipline such people.

"You try to do so, the next day they become a Prophet Pastor Founder and that is the genesis of multiple Pastors we currently have today. Laws becomes mere paper tiger unless effective and efficient enforcement is ensured!"
