This is the story of how multiple award winning youth choir, the Area H Mass Choir became the best youth choir of the youth organisation in the church.
The choir coordinated by the talented Brother Michael Obe competed with various youth choir at the just concluded Annual Youth Conference of the Church at the Celestial Miracle Fortress, Ifo, Ogun State.
The Area H Mass Choir were the least to be called to the podium to showcase what they have to the judges and the audience, after the likes of Sokoto State Mass Choir, Area G Mass Choir, Ogun State Mass Choir, Area D Mass Choir, Area B Mass Choir amongst many others have presented thiers.
While Area H Mass Choir were one their way to the stage, some uncouthly members of the audience gave them no chance as some made demoralising comment, so as to make them lose focus during their presentation.
Unfortunately for Area H Mass Choir, the inappropriateness of the sound engineer to put his instruments in order make them to begin on a shaky note, as a result, they were again jettisoned by some members of the audience with noises and discouraging comments.
However, this choir group were not discouraged and by the time the instruments were in order, they gave a flawless rendition of the church hymn and an exceptional self composed song, which made the audience, their detractors and the judges to applaud them. Seyi Solagbade, who was the lead judge described the performance as phenomenal and out of this world.
