One of the sons of the founding pastor of the Church, Senior Evangelist Omotosho Oshoffa has revealed the secret of his father, Reverend Samuel Bilewu Oshoffa, the founding Pastor of the Church.

The younger Oshoffa, popularly known as Tosho made this revelation on Saturday, 1st September at CCC Ikeja, the venue of the symposium held in memory of the 33rd year of the demise of his father.

Speaking on the topic The Grace in CCC and the Secret of Oshoffa, Tosho disclosed that the secret of his father's success was the possession of an extremely humble spirit. He buttressed that SBJ Oshoffa was humble till death.

Tosho however said most members of the Church, especially Shepherds, are not following in the footsteps of the older Oshoffa. He complained that they do not possess any form of humility, as such attitude is killing the Church. He opinionated that "most of us (elder) are acting as small gods" and filled with pride.

Also in his speech, the younger Oshoffa affirmed that while other Churches have grace, that of Celestial Church of Christ is special because it has the special gift of the Holy Spirit.
