Engo at Luli Concert 2016
If members of the church do not support gospel hip hop artiste, Clement Oluwasegun, popularly known as Engo Blow, Ekundayo Michael, aka HOD and many other upcoming Celestial Church based artistes, they may tweak the pattern of the music they sing towards secular music so as to gain acceptability and recognition from members of the public, so says Brother Daniel Ikore in an article titled "don't just clap and make noise, support!

In the article, Daniel quoted a friend of his Dare, who watched Engo's performance at this year's edition of Luli Concert as saying, "this guy (Engo) confining his craft to Cele, hope he won't regret it?"

Brother John describes the lack of support for young acts in the church as inimical to the growth of good music in the church and as it may also sway them from the church. He noted that these upcoming artistes may follow in the footsteps of Evangelist Abel Dosunmu who didn't have it good while he was singing pure celestial and gospel songs.

"He (Mega 99) crossed over into pure juju because the celestial market wasn't favouring him. Guess what, after he crossed over and started making lots of money in the secular world, He (Mega 99) became all celestial churches hot cake for their harvest or cantata. What a life?" John wrote.
