Members chanting Alleluia after a Sunday service
Aside the unique white garment, the most known symbol of this Church is the word alleluia (halleluyah or hallelujah). Two lines in Hymn 908 of our Hymn book state that:

"Halleluyah shall be our song
Halleluyah dwelleth in all our deeds (2ce)".

This indicates how precious the word alleluia is to Celestians. Although there is no generally agreed way of chanting alleluia, but it is believed that one must raise his or her hands up.

However, a post by Celestial Generation advised that members should not just raise their hands up while chanting alleluia, they should do it in form of the motion made by the wiper of a vehicle.

"Let me teach you how to shout halleluyah:
Have you seen a Motor wiper in action, it sways left and right. That's how to do the halleluyah: Your hands up, and it goes left and right." a part of the publication by Celestial Generation says.
