A circular released by the planning committee of the 2018 Annual Christmas Convocation tagged, Imeko 2018
identified 4 other areas that are important for members converging at the convocation to be aware of, aside the 'One Mic, One Stage", which is aimed to harmonize the music activities at the convocation.

1. Good things may come with inconveniences.

In the circular, the committee expressed concern that the changes introduced during this year's convocation might be inconvenient, as it is against the usual norm members are used to. The committee however appeal to members to kindly bear with them as the innovations are meant to position the church for global standard and Godly best practices.

2. Selling of items on the road are prohibited.

The embarrassing human and vehicular gridlock usually witnessed at the Christmas convocation in previous years might be a thing of the past, as the sale of items on the roadside which is a major cause of the gridlock will be discouraged.

3. The creation of a mobile app.

A part of the circular read that "we are creating a mobile app that will serve as a guide for activities during the convocation. This is a welcome development.

4. Introduction of capacity programme

Programmes have been put in place for various segments of the church. Business and Empowerment workshops for the youth, a master class for choir members and capacity building seminars for women, clergy, prophets, sidesmen and woman.

The committee stated via the circular that the essence of these capacity programmes is for members to get the best spiritual experience from the convocation.
