Beninese citizens petition President Talon, want status of Celestial Church changed

As the African Church with the highest global presence, members of the church in the Republic of Benin have petitioned the President of the country, Patrice Talon on the need to review the status of the church.

According to a French online site, Avvaz the petition initiated by Rodrigue Zountchegbe want the status of the church to be raised from an association to a religion.

In the petition to the President, Rodrigue opined that the church's current association status doesn't give the church a good image, stating that it is time to give the Celestial Church of Christ its nobility in the Republic of Benin.
