Supreme head of C&S says Celestial Church was once a part of the Cherubim & Seraphim

A statement made by Prophet Solomon Alao, the Supreme Head, Cherubim & Seraphim Unification of Nigeria indicates that Celestial Church of Christ was part of the first indigenous white garment church in Nigeria, the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement.

Prophet Alao made this known in an interview with Olushola Ricketts of The Punch, which was published on Sunday 31st March, 2019.

In the interview, the octogenarian was asked what is the relationship between Cherubim and Seraphim Church and Celestial Church of Christ.

The prophet replied that; "Celestial Church was part of C&S before it became a church on its own in 1947. We call them a sister church; I call myself ‘Cele Cherum’. We have one standard white garment church, Cherubim and Seraphim Unification of Nigeria, but we work closely with the Celestial Church of Christ."

However the claim by Prophet Solomon Alao is alien to what is generally known to members of Celestial Church of Christ.
